Where do I go to change some settings in MyMail?

With our MyMail service you have the ability to change a lot of the default options for your account. To view, as well as modify these options select the “Settings” link at the top of the page. You should automatically be directed to your preferences panel.

| Can I change my user profile, or is that automatically set by Cable One?
|
The user profile is a way for you to send more information about yourself in the emails you send to others. Not only will they be able to see your email address, but they should be able to also see any other options you would like them to see. To modify your user profile, select the “Settings” link at the top of the page. On the left hand side you will see a new link titled “User Profile”. Select this link to be taken to your user profile administration page. Once on the page you can change, or add, any of the options available. Once you have everything set the way you want, select the “Save Settings” link on the left hand side. Your profile should now be saved and the profile information sent within every email you send using MyMail.

| Where do I change the name displayed in the ‘From’ field when I send an email?

By default, when an individual receives an email from you they will see your email address in the “from” field of the sent email. If you would like your emails to display your name, or a title, instead of the email address, you can do so through your settings page. Simply click on the “Settings” link at the top of the page to be directed to your preferences panel. Once there you will see an option titled “Displayed Name”. In the text box for this option, enter what you would like to be displayed in the “from” field of your emails. Once you have it the way you want, select the “Save Settings” link on the left hand side to save your new display name.

| How do I add an automatic email signature to the emails I send?
|
Through MyMail you have the option to add a signature. This makes writing emails a little easier as each new email you open will automatically have your signature filled in, so you do not have to do it every time. This is especially good for those of us with long signatures, listing multiple degrees or certifications. To create a signature for yourself, select the “Settings” link at the top of the page. This should redirect you to your preference panel. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see an option titled “Email Signature”. In the text box, create your personal email signature. Once done, select the “Save Settings” link on the left hand side of the page.
