    Setup Mac Mail 10.2

  These instructions will guide you through setting up your e-mail using the Mac Mail 10.2 program.



  1. Open the Macintosh Mail 10.2 program. In the menu click on the word Mail and then click on Preferences.

  2. Click on the Create Account button.

  3. For Account Type, select POP Account
    4.  
     
  4. Type a friendly name to identify the account in the Description field.
    5.  
     
  5. Type your CableONE.Net e-mail address in the E-mail Address field.
    6.  
     
  6. Type your name in the Full Name field.
    7.  
     
  7. Type mail.cableone.net in the Host name field.
    8.  
     
  8. Type your username in the User name field. Your username is the first part of your e-mail address (without @cableone.net).
    9.  
     
  9. Type your password in in the Password field.
    10.  
     
  10. Type mail.cableone.net in the SMTP Host field.
    11.  
     
  11. Click the OK button. You have successfully configured the Macintosh Mail 10.2 program to receive your CableONE e-mail.
