Enabling SMTP Authentication in Microsoft Outlook 2003.

1. Open Microsoft Outlook. On the top menu, click on the word Tools and then click on E-mail Accounts.

2. Click on View or change existing e-mail accounts and then click Next.

3. Click on your CableONE E-mail account and then click Change.

4. Click on the button labeled More Settings.

5. Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

6. Select Log on using and enter your CableONE username and password. Then click OK.

7. Click Next.

8. Click Finish.You have successfully configured Microsoft Outlook to use SMTP authentication.
