Enabling SMTP Authentication in Outlook Express.

1. Open Outlook Express. In the menu click on the word Tools and then click on Accounts.

2. Across the top, click on the Mail Tab and select your CableONE email account. Then click on Properties.

3. Under Outgoing Mail Server check My server requires authentication.

4. Click on the button labeled Settings.

5. Select Log on Using.

6. Type your CableONE username and password. Check the Remember password box and then click OK.

7. Click Apply and then click OK.

 


MAC Mail SMTP Authentication

8. Click Close. You have successfully configured Outlook Express to use SMTP authentication.
