Enabling SMTP Authentication in the Macintosh Mail 10.2 program.

1. Open the Macintosh Mail program. In the menu click on the word Mail and then click on Preferences.

2. Under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), click on Server Settings.

3. Click on Authentication and select Password.

4. Type in your CableONE username and password. Then click OK.

5. Close the Accounts window by clicking the Red X in the upper left corner of the Accounts window.

6. When prompted to save your changes click Save. You have successfully configured the Macintosh Mail program to use SMTP authentication.
