| Double click on My Computer. Double click on Dial-Up Networking. (In Windows Millennium Edition, Dial-Up Networking is located in the Control Panel). (View Screenshot) |

| Right click on your connection to CableONE.Net (it may have various names) and then click on Properties. (View Screenshot) |

| A new window will appear. "Use area code and Dialing Properties" is unchecked, which grays out the Area Code box. Click on the Server Types tab located across the top. (View Screenshot) |

| Type of Dial Up Server: PPP. Under "Advanced options", Enable Software Ccompression is checked. Under "Allowed network protocols" only TCP/IP is checked. Click on the TCP/IP Settings button located in the lower right. (View Screenshot) |

| Server Assigned IP Address is bulleted. Farther down, Server Assigned Name Server Addresses is also bulleted. Make sure the last two boxes are checked. You are now Finished. Click OK twice and then close the Dial-Up Networking window. (View Screenshot) |
