Troubleshooting: Reboot Like A Pro
  
Step 1:
Power down and turn off your computer, this also includes other computers and or routers. (View Screenshot)
Step 2:
Cable Modem Power Off:
  • Cable ONE Phone Customers:
    • Do NOT unplug the power. Press the reset button on the back of the Cable Modem.
  • Cable ONE Customers Without Phone:
    • Unplug the power from the Cable Modem. If applicable, do NOT use the Power/Standby button on top of the modem.

Step 3:
Cable Modem Power On:
  • Cable ONE Phone Customers:
    • No action is required as the Cable Modem should not have been unplugged from the wall outlet.
  • Cable ONE Customers Without Phone:
    • After the lights go out on the Cable Modem, count to 5 then plug the power back in.

Step 4:
Wait until the "Cable" light goes solid, depending on the type of modem there may not be a designated "Cable" light. (View Screenshot)
Step 5:
Once solid, power up your computer, this also includes other computers and or routers. (View Screenshot)
