| Step 1: |
| Click on the Start button located in the lower left and then slide your mouse up and click on Settings and then Control Panel. (View Screenshot) |

| In Control Panel click on the Network and Internet Connections. (View Screenshot) |

| A new window will appear entitled Network and Internet Connections. Depending on your configuration you may or may not see the image expandable below. (View Screenshot) |

| On the lower left, click on Network Connects. A new window will appear. Double click on your Local Area Connection. (Your Local Area Connection may vary in name.) A new window will appear. Click on Properties on the lower left. (View Screenshot) |

| Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and then click on the Properties button. (View Screenshot) |

| Another window will appear, the radio buttons should be checked next to Obtain an IP Address Automatically and Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically. Click the Advanced button at the bottom.
