| Step 1: |
| Click on the Go button and select the System Preferences icon. A new window will appear. |

| Click on the Network icon under the Internet & Network heading. (View Screenshot) |

| You will see something similar to the expandable image below that shows your connectivity options. You'll want to click on the one labled Ethernet and click on the configure button. (View Screenshot) |

| On this new screen click on the Configure IPv4 drop-down and select Using DHCP. Click on the Apply Now button. (View Screenshot) |

| Give it a moment and your computer should populate the IP address, Subnet Mask, and Router portions with numbers. If this hasn't happened after 60 seconds, click the button labeled Renew DHCP Lease. (View Screenshot) |

| Congratulations - you should be on the Internet at this point. Open your browser of choice to test! |
